BRUNSWICK — Lucille S. Curtis, R. N. age 98 of Brunswick, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Brunswick on December 29, 1913, a daughter of Alixis and Anna Bechard St. Pierre.
Lucille graduated from St. John’s Parochial School and Brunswick High School in the Class of 1933. She then attended and graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing. Besides traveling, she enjoyed dress making and golf. She was a long time member of the Harpswell Garden Club and a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church. She married Stanley E. Curtis in Pascagoula, Miss in 1939. They resided in several southern states before returning to Maine together.
Lucille is predeceased by her husband Stanley of 65 years in August 2005; her sisters, Eunice Skaling and Connie Roderick; her brothers, Claude St. Pierre and Robert St. Pierre.
She leaves several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be said at St. Charles Borromeo Church at the family’s convenience. Arrangements are in care of the Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick. Condolences can be expressed at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
