NEW FACES

• Tom Watson joined Dummond Woodsum as a member of the firm’s business services and trial services groups. Watson was previously with Wiggin & Nourie Law Firm in New Hampshire.

 

Krista Rogers was named senior team leader and AmeriCorps volunteer for the Maine Conservation Corps. Rogers, of Bath, is a 2004 graduate of North Yarmouth Academy and a 2008 graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where she studied geology and biology. Last year, she worked at Baxter State Park as a trail crew leader.

Heather Goulette, Cait Guvench and Laura Meyer joined True North.

Goulette is a licensed massage therapist who offers integrative massage including Swedish techniques, deep tissue and trigger point work, energetic touch and passive joint stretching.

Guvench has a master’s degree in clinical psychology. As a counselor, she diagnoses and treats depression, anxiety, marital stress, intimacy problems, alcohol or drug abuse and other issues that commonly strain or damage relationships and sense of self.

Meyer is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She is board certified by the National Certification for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

 

Melissa Babineau was hired at Norway Savings Bank as vice president, cash management manager.

Babineau has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Her experience includes both retail and commercial banking in Maine.

BOARD APPOINTMENTS

Betsy Saltonstall, a longtime activist in state education and political circles, joined the Emerge Maine board of directors. Saltonstall, of Rockport, served on the Rockport School Board from 2008 to 2011. She is president of ESCS, LLC, a company that owns and manages rental properties.

Michael Vitiello, superintendent of the York County Jail, was elected to the board of directors of the American Jail Association. Vitiello is a 20-year veteran in the corrections field. He oversees a staff of more than 100 corrections officers and operates the jail with a $10.6 million-dollar budget.
