Friday, April 13

Naturalization ceremony, 10 a.m., at the HUB (gym), on the campus of Southern Maine Community College, South Portland. This is a public event where 55 people will become new citizens of this country. It will last approximately one hour. Arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. to get a seat. Color of Community, a group of multicultural students who all attend SMCC, will be participating in the ceremony as well as the SMCC Chorus and the well-known group Pihcentu. Judge John Rich III will be presiding and SMCC’s new president, Ron Cantor, will speak.
