DURHAM — Durham will hold a municipal election Friday in the Durham Community School gymnasium.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters are asked to enter the gym from the town office side of the school.
There are no contested races for any elected positions, and no candidates are on the ballot to run for the single three-year term on the Board of Selectmen.
Incumbent Terry Kirk seeks another three-year term on the Budget Committee. No other names will appear on the ballot, but voters will be asked to select three individuals to fill threeyear terms on the committee.
Incumbent Candace Decsipkes is running unopposed for the three- year term on the Regional School Unit 5 board of directors.
Pauline Paradis is running for re-election to a one-year term both as tax collector and as treasurer.
According to the town’s website, election results will be posted on Durham Channel Three late Friday night, and will be posted in the hallway at the town office.
The town’s annual town meeting will kick off at 9 a.m. Saturday at Durham Community School, 654 Hallowell Road.
