WEST BATH — Virginia M. Ambrose of West Bath died 15 April 2012 at Mid Coast Hospital with her family at her side.
She was born 18 July 1920 in Bath Maine the daughter of Albert and Helen (Turcotte) Reno Sr. and attended local schools.
Virginia worked as a housekeeper for many years at New Meadow Motel.
She loved family gatherings, going to yard sales and was an avid NASCAR fan. She was loved and will be missed by all who loved her.
Virginia was predeceased by her first husband Erwin E Whorff and her second husband Donald C Ambrose, a son Donald Whorff Sr., 3 brothers, Albert, Phillip, and Arthur Reno, and a sister Mrs. Chester ( Demorise) Swain Sr.
She is survived by a son, William J Whorff Sr and his wife Sandra of West Bath, a daughter, Arlene and her husband John Coffman of Sandusky, Ohio, a son, Chester D Ambrose of West Bath, a daughter, Terry and her husband Philip Freeman of West Bath and a very special nephew, Elzear Reno of West Bath. 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
