LISBON — The Lisbon School Department will hold mandatory screening for children who will enter kindergarten for the 2012-13 academic year on May 7, 8 and 9 at Lisbon Community School, 33 Mill St.

State and federal law requires that all in-coming kindergarten age children be screened for possible disabilities.

An official birth certificate, Social Security number, current immunization record and documentation of a recent (within one year) physical examination by an M.D., D.O., or nurse practitioner must be presented at registration.

Call Stephanie Doughty at 353-4132 to schedule an appointment.

A parent information night is scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Lisbon Community School Cafetorium.
