PORTLAND — Dunkin’ Donuts has announced their 2012 Dunkin’ Dugout program with the Portland Sea Dogs.
The program is funded by local Dunkin’ Donuts business owners and provides 200 children throughout Maine the opportunity to attend a Sea Dogs game, meet players and be recognized during game festivities.
Submissions are now being accepted from organizations throughout the state.
Each selected group will receive 20 tickets to a designated game throughout the season. The games will take place on May 26 (against the New Britain Rock Cats); June 10 (Richmond Flying Squirrels), June 21 (Harrisburg Senators), July 1 (Trenton Thunder), July 12 (New Hampshire Fisher Cats), August 3 and 5 (Erie Sea- Wolves), August 17 (New Britain Rock Cats) and September 1 (Reading Phillies).
Deserving camps, schools and youth groups are eligible to apply by sending an email to [email protected] that briefly describes the organization and why it should be selected to attend a game.
Dunkin’ Donuts and the Sea Dogs will work together to select and notify the winners.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
