Katrina Fenton, center, and others scan the sky for raptors at the summit of Bradbury Mountain today in Pownal. Fenton is the official counter for the sixth annual hawk watch, a two-month project that began on March 15. Of the 16 species she’s tallying, the broadwinged hawk is the most popular with 1,123 sightings. Bald eagles have been seen 75 times.
