LISBON — The Town Council will hold a public hearing today on a proposal to change Gartley Street from a General Residential District to Diversified Development District.

The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at the Lisbon town office.

The Town Council also plans to discuss dispatch services; the University of Maine Cooperative Extension and Forever Farms; a budget schedule change; and hear the town manager’s report.

The council also is slated to consider renewing a mobile home park license for Whispering Pines Trailer Park; set polling hours, locations, registrar and absentee casting hours for the June 12 referendum; and appoint election clerks and wardens for June 12.

The council also will consider action on the resignation of Justin Liudvinaitis from the Lisbon Trails Commission due to internal conflicts within the commission, according to his resignation letter.

Today’s meeting will conclude with a budget workshop covering economic and community development, recreation, parks, assessing and code enforcement, elected officials, town manager, contingency and legal budgets.
