CUMBERLAND — Alex Mitch scored her sixth goal of the game with 1:19 remaining as Freeport capped a big second-half comeback for a 12-11 win over Greely in a Class B girls’ lacrosse game Tuesday.

Freeport (2-2) held Greely (1-3) scoreless in the second half as it overcame an 11-5 deficit. Julie Fosburg, who finished with three goals for the Falcons, tied the game with 3:17 left.

Paige Tuller and Meg Finlay each had three goals for Greely.

 

WAYNFLETE 17, FRYE-BURG ACADEMY 3: Walker Foehl had three goals and an assist, and Leigh Fernandez added two goals and two assists to lead the Flyers (5-0) past the Raiders (1-3) at Portland.

Megan MacGillivray scored all three goals for Fryeburg.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 17, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Forrest Milburn had four goals and one assist to lead the Panthers (2-3) over the Raiders (0-4) at Yarmouth.

Oliver Silverson added three goals and an assist, and T.J. Daigler finished with two goals and an assist.
