A GRAND OPENING DAY is planned for this Saturday for the brand-new Gifford’s ice cream stand at 50 Maquoit Road in Brunswick. The business, known as The Ice Cream Shack at Maquoit Market, will be serving 18 flavors of the famous Maine Gifford’s ice cream, along with sundaes, milkshakes, banana splits, floats and all the goodies that go along with them. Saturday’s event will feature free samples for everyone.
