BRUNSWICK — Thornton Oaks and United Way of Mid Coast Maine will host a free public volunteer fair from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Thornton Oaks, 25 Thornton Way.
Representatives from 18 local nonprofit organizations will be on hand to talk about their volunteer programs and benefits. Some of the groups seeking volunteers include the Midcoast Chapter of the American Red Cross, Mid Coast Senior Health Center, Five Rivers Arts Alliance, Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick.
