WINDHAM – Police are investigating a robbery at a Walgreens store on Friday.

A man walked into the North Windham drugstore about 8:50 p.m. Friday and handed a note to a pharmacist demanding oxycodone pills, according to a news release from Windham police.

The man, who had a medium build and was between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, took the pills and fled the area, though police do not know whether he left on foot or in a vehicle.

The man was white and wearing a hooded black winter jacket, black pants and oversized sunglasses. His note said he had a gun, but he did not show one to the pharmacist, police said.
