BRUNSWICK — In Cal Ripken U12 Softball action on Saturday, Brunswick’s Aspen Dental got past Brackett’s Market of Bath 13-1.
Despite a standout pitching performance by Bath’s Marissa Parks, who struck out 12, Brunswick was able to score 13 runs on multi-hit games from Hannah Escoe, Allison Eck, Olivia Mateus, and Brooke Barter and RBI singles from Robyn Dumont, Aidan Crawford, and Julia Rutherford.
Brunswick pitcher Escoe pitched five innings, striking out eight and giving up a hit to Brackett’s Kim St. Pierre. Madeline Berry finished the game with three strikeouts and one run allowed.
