TOPSHAM — Topsham police issued summonses to three minors for alcohol-related offenses Saturday night.
Police received a complaint at 6:54 p.m. that an underage drinking party was taking place at 6 David Drive, located off Roberts Hill Road. Sgt. Mark Gilliam responded to the home where one of the three minors lives, according to interim Police Chief Christopher Lewis. The parents were out of town.
Brian Sherwood, 21, of 48 Ivanhoe Drive, was charged with furnishing liquor to a minor. Thomas Dunn, 20, of 21 Royal Oak Circle, was summonsed for possession of alcohol by a minor. Dunn will be 21 on Tuesday according to the date of birth provided by police.
Lindsey Clark, 20, of 6 David Drive was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol.
Lewis said Gilliam found a tapped keg at the home. Police removed the tap and surrendered the keg to Sherwood’s mother.
