YARMOUTH – Bryce Snyder singled, doubled and drove in two runs Thursday as Yarmouth scored a 4-3 victory that sent Greely to its first Western Maine Conference baseball loss of the season.

Snyder had an RBI single in the first inning before Greely (9-1) took the lead with two runs in the top of the second.

Yarmouth (7-4) scored the tying run on an RBI single by Ryan Cody in the fifth and Greely pitcher Bailey Train walked in the go-head run.

Snyder’s RBI double in the sixth provided a two-run cushion, which the Rangers cut into with a run in the seventh on a pair of singles.

Snyder took the mound with two outs in the sixth and finished the game with three strikeouts.

Starter Chester Jacobs got the win, allowing four hits and giving up three walks.

KENNEBUNK 4, BIDDEFORD 0: Jake Bear threw a six-hit shutout with four strikeouts as the Rams (3-8) beat the Tigers (6-6) at Biddeford.

Nick Emmons had three hits with an RBI, two runs and a stolen base, and Jason Small added two hits with a double and a run for Kennebunk.

Taylor Reuillard had a pair of hits with a double for Biddeford.

FALMOUTH 7, POLAND 0: Nick Spencer threw a no-hitter with four strikeouts and one walk as the Yachtsmen (10-0) beat the Knights (4-7) at Falmouth.

Spencer also collected an RBI in a five-run fifth inning, when Andrew Emple had an RBI double and Connor Murphy drove in two with a single.

Seamus Powers added a pair of doubles.

WATERVILLE 4, LINCOLN ACADEMY 3: Tyler Bouchard’s RBI double in the eighth inning lifted the Purple Panthers (11-1) over the Eagles (6-4-1) at Newcastle.

After five scoreless innings, Waterville scored three in the top of the sixth: Aiden Fitzgerald drove in two and Jordan Whitten one.

Lincoln answered with three in the bottom of the inning, including an RBI by Dalton Leeman.

Whitten earned the win, walking none.

PORTLAND 10, BONNY EAGLE 2: Kyle Reichert finished with three RBI on a double and single as the Bulldogs (3-7) beat Bonny Eagle (4-7) at Portland.

Winning pitcher Nate Smart allowed six hits and one run, with six strikeouts and three walks.

SCARBOROUGH 11, DEERING 0: The Red Storm (10-1) took advantage of 13 walks and five errors, and scored nine runs in the seventh inning to pull away from the Rams (4-7) at Portland.

Ben Wessel pitched a four-hit shutout with nine strikeouts and no walks.

SANFORD 4, NOBLE 1: Ryan Camire allowed two hits as Sanford (4-6) beat the visiting Knights (4-7).

Ethan Gouin had an RBI double as part of a four-run sixth inning. Tyler Flayhan added a pair of hits for Sanford.

MARSHWOOD 13, THORNTON ACADEMY 2: The Hawks (10-2) used a seven-run third inning to pull away from the Trojans (6-5) and win in five innings at Saco.

Robert Jones hit a three-run homer and Jack Verrill added a two-run double for Marshwood in the third.

Jack Kenney had two hits and scored for Thornton.

WESTBROOK 5, GORHAM 0: Keenan Lowe drove in three runs and pitched six innings of one-hit ball to lead the Blue Blazes (9-2) over Gorham (3-8) at Westbrook.

Lowe also allowed three walks and struck out one.

Kyle Heath, Sam Stauble and Lowe hit RBI singles in the first inning. Lowe brought home Heath and Stauble in the third with another single.

VALLEY 11, RICHMOND 0: Cody Laweryson struck out eight and allowed four hits to lead the Cavaliers (4-4) over the Bobcats (1-9) at Richmond.

Caleb West, Carrington Miller and Matt Hunnewell had two hits each for Valley. Gage Myrick singled twice for Richmond.

LACROSSE

YORK 5, WAYNFLETE 4: Kyle Robinson scored the winner for the Wildcats (6-3) in the second overtime against the Flyers (2-6) at Portland.

Robinson scored four of the five goals for York.

GARDINER 13, LINCOLN ACADEMY 1: Keegan Smith and Josh Caldwell scored three goals apiece as the Tigers (8-0) beat the Eagles (2-6) at Gardiner.

Jeff McAuslin had two goals, and Justin Lovely, Seth Wing, Dalton Sargent, Tyler Jamison and Jake Truman also scored for Gardiner. Lovely added three assists, and McAuslin, Smith and Wing had two apiece. Ben Stone answered for Lincoln.

Cody Hickey and J.D. Crocker combined for four saves for Gardiner. Martin Shott made 17 saves for Lincoln.

MESSALONSKEE 7, LEWISTON 4: Nate DelGiudice had three goals and three assists to lead the Eagles (5-4) over Lewiston (5-4) at Oakland.

Aiden Calkins, Ben Weeks, Dom Dexter and Ryan Erskine also scored for the Eagles. Weeks had two assists.

Tom LePage made nine saves in goal. Jacob Smith had 10 for Messalonskee.
