FALMOUTH – Ryan Cody hit a go-ahead two-run single in the fifth and pitched five innings of one-hit relief Friday to lead Yarmouth to a 6-4 victory against Falmouth in a Western Maine Conference baseball game.

Cody struck out eight and walked none.

Drew Proctor’s two-run single helped the Yachtsmen (12-2) take a 4-1 lead in the second. The Clippers (9-6) got two back in the fourth on Nick Lainey’s squeeze and Max Grimm’s RBI single.

GREELY 5, POLAND 3: Liam Maker smacked a two-run double in the third inning as the Rangers (14-1) broke away from the Knights (7-8) at Cumberland.

Freshman Will Bryant started for Greely and struck out nine in four innings. Connor Russell struck out five in two innings of relief in his varsity debut.

Jake Simard had an RBI for Poland.

WESTBROOK 8, BONNY EAGLE 1: Keenan Lowe and Andrew McCarthy each had two hits with two RBI, and three pitchers combined on a two-hitter for the Blue Blazes (11-4) against the Scots (6-9) at Standish.

Zach Bean pitched the first three innings, Aaron Duncanson took the mound for the fifth and sixth, and Andrew Rogers closed it.

CAMDEN HILLS 12, MEDOMAK VALLEY 0: Taylor Hall had a home run with three RBI to power the Windjammers (7-6) past the Panthers (5-9-1) in five innings at Waldoboro.

Kyle Ohelnik had three hits with four stolen bases, an RBI and three runs.

Chandler Crans pitched a two-hit shutout with nine strikeouts. He also knocked in two runs with a pair of hits.

WAYNFLETE 12, SACOPEE VALLEY 4: Andrew Butler had a double, stole two bases and scored three runs to help the Flyers (9-5) down the Hawks (2-12) at South Hiram.

Mitch Newlin and Matt Jarrell each chipped in two hits, and Joey Schnier pitched five innings to improve to 6-1.

WELLS 3, YORK 2: Joseph Spinelli lifted a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning to score the winning run for the Warriors (8-7) against the Wildcats (4-11) at York.

Brandon Prittam had an RBI for York.

Adam Legg had an RBI with a bunt single for Wells.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 8, OCEANSIDE 2: The Eagles (10-4-1) broke it open with a six-run sixth inning and beat the Mariners (8-7) at Newcastle.

Jalen Lincoln led off the sixth with a home run. Dalton Leeman also hit an RBI single.

Brandon Bonney had three singles, scored twice and was the winning pitcher.

Billy Joyce hit a two-run double for Oceanside.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 8, LAKE REGION 2: The Patriots (9-6) put together two multiple-run innings against the Lakers (3-12) at Gray.

The Patriots scored three in the second on a sacrifice fly by Aaron Grondin, groundout by Tyler Credit and single by Justin McKenna.

In the five-run fifth, Grondin drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, and Adam Healy and Austen Keenan each hit a two-run single.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 9, TRAIP ACADEMY 4: Anthony Langella had two hits and pitched a complete game for the Seagulls (6-9) against the Rangers (3-10) at Old Orchard Beach.

Langella struck out five and walked two. He hit two singles and had an RBI, a run and a stolen base for the Seagulls, who scored five runs in the fifth inning.

Dan Eddy had two hits for Traip.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2, FREEPORT 1: Ian MacFawn struck out 15 and homered in the fifth inning to lead Fryeburg Academy (8-7) to a nine-inning win against the Falcons (10-5) at Freeport.

After Bill Rascoe’s bases-loaded walk scored Andrew Berg with the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth, MacFawn struck out the side looking in the bottom of the inning.

MacFawn allowed seven hits and four walks. Dan Burke tossed seven innings for the Falcons, allowing four hits and two walks, striking out 11.

MT. ABRAM 11, BOOTHBAY REGION 1: Jay Chenard struck out nine and held the Seahawks (0-13) to two hits and two walks to lead the Roadrunners (4-9) to a five-inning victory at Salem.

Trent Rosenberg hit a two-run double and Shaine White also drove in two runs for Mt. Abram.

LACROSSE

GREELY 12, WAYNFLETE 9: Paul Witte had two goals and three assists, and Sam Reed stopped 14 shots as the Rangers (7-4) downed the Flyers (4-7) at Cumberland.

Brooks Belisle, Brendan Trelegan, Mitch Mullen and Fred Bower also had two goals for Greely, which scored the final three goals late in the game.

Chris Burke and Jack Cutler each had a goal and an assist, and Max McKendry made eight saves for the Flyers.

BRUNSWICK 17, CONY 0: Elliot Boyd had four goals as the Dragons (12-0) finished an undefeated regular season by beating the Rams (3-8) at Brunswick.

Winston Sullivan had three goals and two assists for Brunswick, and Bailey Caparatto scored three goals.

SOUTH PORTLAND 15, BIDDEFORD 4: Thomas Leddy scored five goals to carry the Red Riots (4-7) past the Tigers (2-10) at South Portland.

Michael Salvatore chipped in with three goals and two assists, and Andrew Whipple had a goal and four assists for South Portland.

Clint Maloy scored twice for Biddeford.
