Bowdoin College junior Katherine Kinkel of Brunswick was awarded the Nathalie Walker Llewellyn Poetry Prize and the Bertram Louis Smith Jr. Prize during the annual Honors Day ceremony on May 9. She is an English major.
Samuel Turner of Brunswick, a member of the Bowdoin College Class of 2014, was awarded the Smyth Mathematical Prize during the annual Honors Day ceremony on May 9. Turner, a mathematics major, is a graduate of Brunswick High School.
Zachery Shaw was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Northeastern University’s College of Engineering.
Thomas Adams-Wall, a graduate of The Governor’s Academy, received a bachelor of arts degree from The College of Wooster (Ohio) during commencement exercises on May 14. A history major, Adams-Wall is a resident of Brunswick.
