Claude N. Caouette, 71, formerly of Old Orchard Beach, died May 25, 2012, at Maine Medical Center in Portland after a brief illness. At Claude’s request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service, to celebrate Claude’s life, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the Biddeford Middle School. Interment will be in the family lot in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Old Orchard Beach Funeral Home, 36 Portland Ave., Old Orchard Beach. A memorial scholarship fund is being established in Claude’s name for students in the Biddeford/Saco/Old Orchard Beach area. Contributions for this scholarship fund may be sent to Crystal Azevedo, 715 Fuller Road, Carmel, ME 04419, or to Joe Fairfield, Biddeford School Department, P.O. Box 1865, Biddeford, ME 04005.
