HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) — Beachgoers and state and town officials are celebrating $14.5 million in renovations to New Hampshire’s Hampton Beach.
The facelift includes the construction of a new Seashell entertainment complex, the overhaul of bathhouses at the north and south end of the promenade, shady spots for sitting, an improved walkway, and new parking signs.
A ceremony is being held at 5 p.m. today with speeches, music and fireworks.
