WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Authorities in Worcester say an 18-month-old boy has drowned in a city lake.

Police and firefighters responded to Indian Lake at about 11 a.m. Thursday after getting reports of a missing boy.

The boy was found a short time later unresponsive in the water. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
