Enterprise Grange will host a forum for Richmond municipal candidates at 6:30 p.m. today at 15 Alexander Reed Road.
The candidates are scheduled to speak at 7 p.m., followed by a period during which the public can ask them questions. The event is free and open to all. Coffee will be available.
Two seats are open on the five-person Board of Selectmen. Other elective offices up for grabs include a seat on the Richmond Utilities District board of trustees, two seats on the Budget Committee and a one-year term available on the Regional School Unit 2 board of directors.
In addition to the municipal election, Richmond voters can participate in party primary elections and will vote on the RSU 2 budget. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Richmond Middle School/High School gymnasium.
