ALFRED (AP) — A grand jury has indicted a 23-year-old Maine man on murder and manslaughter charges stemming from the death of his 2 1/2-month-old son.
A York County grand jury returned the indictment Wednesday against Gordon Collins-Faunce of Arundel. Collins-Faunce was charged with murder last month in the death of his son, Ethan Henderson, at the home where he was living with his girlfriend.
Court documents say Collins-Faunce told police he squeezed his son’s head in frustration before throwing him hard into a living room chair, causing severe brain bleeding that led to his death.
The grand jury also indicted Collins-Faunce on charges of aggravated assault and assault for allegedly assaulting his son on previous occasions in March and April.
