FREEPORT — Jennifer Samelson of South Brunswick, N.J., and Matthew Kanwit of Brunswick were married on June 9, 2012.

The ceremony took place at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y., and was officiated by Rabbi Alan Lurie.

Andrea Zamloot of Caldwell, N.J., was the matron of honor, while the bridesmaids were Samantha Reisman of South Brunswick, N.J., and Kate Moran of Wayne, N.J.

The best man was Nate LeGare of Stockton Springs, while the groomsmen were Chad Wilcox, Kyle Kirby and Nicholas Lund, all of Portland.

Music for the ceremony was provided by the Devonshire Players.

A reception took place at Massa’ in Scarsdale, N.Y., with music/entertainment provided by Naked Soul Entertainment.

Samelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Samelson, received an undergraduate degree at Rutgers College in New Brunswick, N.J., and graduate degree from Teachers College in New York City.

Kanwit, son of Dr. and Mrs. John Kanwit, graduated from Brunswick High School, received an undergraduate degree at Rutgers College, and attended law school in Portland.

The couple took a wedding trip to Puerto Rico, and make their home in Freeport.
