From a field of five candidates competing for two open seats, Richmond voters selected incumbent Clarence Cummins and newcomer Gary Poulin to serve three-year terms on the five-member Board of Selectmen.
According to unofficial voting results released Tuesday night, Cummins, running for a second term on the board, was the top vote winner with 160 votes. Poulin, a self-employed contractor, secured the second three-year term with 145 votes.
Runner-up Frederic Browne received 138 votes, while David Guilmette and Pauline Beasley each garnered 118 votes.
In the two-way race for the Richmond Utilities District board of trustees, incumbent Robert Bodge Jr. defeated Thomas Webster by a 281-133 vote to win a three-year term.
By a 279-137 vote, Lori Umberhind defeated Jay Brown for a single one-year seat on the Regional School Unit 2 board of directors.
Unopposed Budget Committee candidate Kimberly Valek- Molnar won one of two, twoyear terms available with 355 votes. The second seat will be offered to top write-in candidate Tamara Smith, who landed five votes Tuesday.
