SACO – The New England Interscholastic Track outdoor championships were held Saturday at Thornton Academy in Saco, with a number of local athletes competing.

Kate Hall, a freshman at Lake Region, finished third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.20, as well as 14th in the long jump.

Windham’s Hannah Damron finished 19th in the 300-meter hurdles and 25th in the triple jump. Teammate Lonnie Staten finished 20th in the shot put.

Patrick Rice, also of Windham, finished sixth in the triple jump.

For the Bonny Eagle girls, Audrey Weyand finished 18th in the 400-meter run, Samantha Cox finished 23rd in the 800-meter run, and Mary Szatkowski finished 22nd in the 3200-meter run. The 4×800 relay team of Cox, Kyaunna Libby, Kristen Glennie and Alexandra Vayda finished 16th.

For the Bonny Eagle boys, Kyle Bailey finished 20th in the 110-meter hurdles, and Shane Corbett finished 29th in the javelin.

Elijah Locke competed in the high jump, but did not clear the starting height of 6-00.
