Army Pvt. Daniel E. Foss has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Foss is the grandson of Pearl Morse of Hollis Center and is a graduate of Lake Region High School, Naples.

Navy Seaman Recruit Keoni L. Lefebvre, son of Chantal Lefebvre and stepson of Donald Bishop of Scarborough, recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Lefebvre is a 2011 graduate of Scarborough High School.

Marine Corps Pfc. Bradlee A. Flagg, son of Tearesa Flagg of Waterford and Andrew Flagg of Harrison, has completed the Basic Engineer Equipment Electrical Systems Technician course at Marine Corps Engineer School, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Flagg is a 2004 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, South Paris, and joined the Marine Corps Reserve in June 2011.

Marine Corps Capt. John P. Viskup, whose wife, Jacqueline, is the daughter of Jack Dudley of Saco, has reported for duty with Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Ariz.

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew J. Duhaine, son of Richard Duhaine of Brunswick, recently participated in New York Fleet Week 2012. The event is a celebration of the sea services and is one of the signature events around the country commemorating OpSail 2012, the Bicentennial of the War of 1812.
