BRUNSWICK
A 42-year-old Georgia man was struck by a car Monday afternoon as he walked across the entrance to Lowe’s on Bath Road in Cook’s Corner.
David Rankin, 42, of Atlanta, Ga., stepped off the median and in front of a 2002 Chevrolet driven by Kenneth Reddinger, 31, of Phippsburg, just after 3 p.m., Deputy Chief Marc Hagan of the Brunswick Police Department said today.
Reddinger sustained head injuries and was taken by Brunswick rescue to Mid Coast Hospital. He was treated and released, a hospital representative said.
No charges will be filed, according to Hagan.
