BATH — Odd Fellows exploded for five sixth-inning runs in picking up a 10-6 Coastal Babe Ruth Baseball victory over Goodwin’s Tire recently.
Andrew Lacavera singled, tripled and scored three runs, while Jacob Cressey had two hits, Ethan Brewer a triple and Anthony Moore a key two-run single.
Lacavera went the distance on the mound with six strikeouts and one walk.
For Goodwin’s, Caleb Cost singled twice and scored three times to pace the offense. Elias Henze had three hits, while Jacob Beaulieu and Nelson Gay each doubled.
In a 6-1 victory over Downeast Brunswick, Cressey and Evan Parsons combined on nine strikeouts and two walks in the win, while Moore singled in a pair and Brendan Harper added a sacrifice fly.
Joey Doherty, Josh Goddard and Zach Worster each singled for Downeast, with Doherty and Goddard combining on the mound for nine strikeouts and three walks.
Odd Fellows is scheduled to hold a fundraiser/car wash on Saturday. The annual “Tag Day” helps the team offset costs for player uniforms.
The fundraiser/car wash will be held at the McDonald’s off Rt. 1.
