RICHMOND — In its continuous effort to restore and protect area grouse and woodcock habitat, the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) has scheduled a clay bird shoot at Varney’s Clay Sports on Aug. 11.
Registration will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., and shooting is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration is $55 per shooter and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, one round of 50 sporting clays, one round of Supera clays, one round of Grouse Challenge and one round of Duck Blind Challenge.
All proceeds from this event will be used to restore and protect area grouse and woodcock habitat.
