WESTBROOK – Corey Larue hit a two-run double to spark a five-run second inning Friday night, and Yankee Ford went on to an 8-5 victory against Aero Heating & Ventilation in a Twilight League baseball game.

Tim Bradford added a triple, double and two runs for Yankee Ford (7-6-2). Nick Grady had three doubles for Aero (9-7).

LENDERS NETWORK 12, PATRIOT INSURANCE 4: Joe Bryant had a three-run double and Cameron Sprague added a two-run single as Lenders Network (7-5-2) used a seven-run eighth inning to get past Patriot Insurance (4-10) at Portland.

FAYETTE-STAPLES 7, BONNEY EAGLE 6: Kendel Tatsak had four hits, with two doubles, as Fayette-Staples (4-10) won in eight innings at Buxton. Nate Morin had three hits for Bonny Eagle.

LIBBY-MITCHELL 3, FALMOUTH 1: Sam Warren broke a scoreless tie in the fifth with a two-run double as Libby-Mitchell (10-5) beat Falmouth (3-11) on Thursday at Scarborough.

MIDCOAST 21, TRI-COUNTY SOUTH 2: Alex Flagg had two singles and a double as Midcoast eliminated Tri-County South in the state tourney at Fairfield. Tri-County South also lost to Central Maine, 10-0.

APPLE VALLEY 10, PORTLAND 5: Dakota Carter had two doubles and a single as Apple Valley eliminated Portland from the state tourney at Fairfield. Portland lost earlier in the day to Tri-County North, 16-4.

DIRIGO 16, HERMON 3: Noah Bonsant had five RBI with three doubles and a single to power Dirigo in the state tournament at Bar Harbor.

WALDO COUNTY 6, EAST BIDDEFORD 1: Liam Cail had an RBI double as Waldo County won in the state tournament at Bar Harbor.

Curtis Petit had a double and Nick Plant added a pair of singles for Biddeford.
