MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Portland Sea Dogs (45-57) got another strong relief performance from the bullpen and Jeremy Hazelbaker tied a franchise record with four stolen bases, but it was the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (39-63) who got the final say, taking a 6-5 Eastern League victory on Sunday.

John Tolisano got the gamewinning hit in the 10th inning, snapping Portland’s winning streak at five games.

New Hampshire scored five early runs against Sea Dogs starting pitcher Mike Mac- Donald, who settled down to go 4.1 innings with four strikeouts. Chris Balcom- Miller threw 3.2 hitless innings of relief to keep Portland in the game.

Five Fisher Cats pitchers, including starter John Stilson and former Sea Dog Chorye Spoone, combined to shut the Sea Dogs down from the fourth inning on. Stilson went three innings, giving up all five of Portland’s runs on six hits. He also struck out four and walked two. Sam Dyson (1-1, .64) earned the victory with two perfect innings of relief, including two strikeouts.

Portland jumped on top in the first inning when Jeremy Hazelbaker and Marquez Smith hit back-to-back home runs. An RBI single by Jackie Bradley Jr. scored Dan Butler for a 3-0 Sea Dogs lead in the second, but the Fisher Cats rallied with five runs in the bottom of the frame for a 5-3 lead.
