WOOLWICH — The Woolwich Recreation Committee met recently in preparation of Woolwich Day on Aug. 4.
A 10-kilometer race for adults is planned as well as a road race for children ages 4 to 11. The Bob Meade 10K Classic Road Race will also be available.
The Woolwich Historical Society is planning a yard sale including Maine made products. In addition, there will be food vendors, a silent auction, pony cart rides and a bounce house. The Nequasset Church will be holding an open house, as well as the Blessing of the Animals. There will be the traditional games at the Waterfront Park, and a children’s identification program at the Town Office and much more.
