PORTLAND — Today’s scheduled free “Alive at Five” concert at Monument Square in Portland has been canceled due to the forecast of rain and thunderstorms.
The scheduled 5 p.m. show – featuring The McCarthys (alt-country) and Amy Allen (folk pop) – will instead by held on Aug. 16 in Monument Square, also at 5 p.m.
The free concert series will continue as planned next week with Anna and the Diggs, the Veayo Twins, and a special appearance from the New Orleans marching band March Fourth.
