PORTLAND (AP) — A 20- year-old Pittston man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with a high-speed crash that killed a college basketball player.
Tyler James Hall was released on $1,000 bail after being arrested Friday on charges of manslaughter, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
Investigators say Hall was driving at a high rate of speed on Route 35 in Standish at 1:30 a.m. April 14 when his car veered off the road and rolled over several times.
The crash killed 20-year-old Clark Noonan, a former Bangor High School star athlete, who was a student and player at Saint Joseph’s.
