FREEPORT HIGH SCHOOL’S cheering team attended session two at the National Cheerleaders Association camp this July. Their spirited teamwork and Falcon pride paid off, according to a news release. Their coach, Candida Poore, was proud when they took home the Sharp Motion Award, a bid to nationals in Texas, the Spirit Award, and the Director’s Award. This was a successful NCA camp experience for Freeport. To top it off, captain Danielle Morency made the All American Team. Picture, in front from left, are Capt. Danielle Morency, Capt.
