• Jeremy Hutchinson of Portland, Simon Wignall of Falmouth and Susan Knight of Kennebunk set division records at the Rockland Breakwater Swim on Aug. 18.

Hutchinson, 33, broke the record in the 1.6-mile race, finishing the out-and-back swim in 34 minutes, 12 seconds. He was 5 minutes ahead of runner-up Mike LePage, 56, of Cumberland.

Wignall, 43, and Knight, 42, established records in the 3.2-mile non-wetsuit category. Wignall finished in 1:18:26, and Knight’s time was 1:24:32.

Other division winners were: Katharine Kostin of Yarmouth, women’s 1.6-mile wetsuit (40:20); Chloe Squibb of Camden, women’s 1.6-mile non-wetsuit (46:32); Sam Manhart of Hampden, men’s 3.2-mile wetsuit (1:12:48); and Bridget Convey of Hallowell, women’s 3.2-mile wetsuit (1:29:13).

• Rebecca Marr used a wedge to score a hole-in-one on the sixth hole at Toddy Brook Golf Course on Aug. 22. Emillo Casanuevo and John Marr witnessed the 80-yard shot.

• Jim Rouse used a 5-iron to ace the 150-yard eighth hole at Riverside Golf Course on Aug. 22. Rouse’s playing partners were Rocco Toppi and Bob Berry.

• Brenda Joy carded a hole-in-one on the 122-yard 17th hole at Riverside Golf Course on Aug. 22. Joy used a 7-wood for the shot, which was witnessed by Sue Quinn, Marie Wood and Pat Carlista.

• Mort Hamlin aced the ninth hole at Bath Country Club with a 9-iron while playing with Wayne Sanborn and Marvin Rosenblum.

• Marty Dow, 84, aced the 180-yard ninth hole at Martindale Country Club on Aug. 18. The shot was witnessed by Al Stasulis, Reggie Mailhot and Chip Larlee.

• Rick Hackett used a 5-hybrid to score a hole-in-one on the 148-yard 13th hole at The Woodlands on Aug. 24. Rich Carriuolo and Elizabeth Carriuolo were witnesses.

• Dick Crosby made an ace with a 3-hybrid on the 118-yard 13th hole at Gorham Country Club on Aug. 25 while playing with Jim Taylor, Tom Maxfield and Bill Isenberg.

• Ben Lizotte made a hole-in-one on the sixth hole at Spring Meadows Golf Club on Aug. 25. He used a 7-iron for the 151-yard shot, which was witnessed by Al Lizotte, Bob Caputo and Paul Andrew.

• Bob Noiles of Gorham made a hole-in-one on the 150-yard sixth hole at Nonesuch River Golf Club on June 28. Noiles used an 8-iron to make the shot, which was witnessed by Don Clark and Roger Ouellette.

• Holly Brooks of Windham used a driver to ace the sixth hole at Spring Meadows Golf Club on Aug. 27.
