YORK — Two people were rescued from a capsized boat off Nubble Light in York shortly before noon Friday.
U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Michael Joyce said the York Fire Department rescued the pair and are now making their way to land. Joyce said it appears the two were not seriously hurt.
Joyce said ithe boat, described as 14- to 18-feet long, overturned in one-foot seas with a 10- to 15-knot wind out of the south.
