WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Rachel Lynn Ganong, of Williamsburg, Va., and Peter Christian Hershey, of Easton, Md., were married on May 15, 2012.

The ceremony took place at Wren Chapel on the William & Mary campus in Williamsburg, and was officiated by the Rev. Daniel Church of Faith Bible Chapel in Buckfield, Maine.

Serving as matrons of honor were Katherine Church of Buckfield, cousin of the bride, and Mary DeGroft of Radcliff, Ky., sister of the bride.

Stephen Hershey of Blacksburg, Va., and Jeffrey Hershey of Ashburn, Va., brothers of the groom, were best men.

The flower girl was Adaya Ganong, niece of the bride, of Lisbon Falls, Maine, and the ring bearer was Malachi Ganong, nephew of the bride, also of Lisbon Falls.

Music for the ceremony was provided by soloist Paul Hershey, father of the groom.

The reception took place at Alumni House at the College of William & Mary.

Ganong, daughter of Brian and Margaret Ganong of Lisbon Falls, is a graduate of Lisbon Falls Christian Academy, Cedarville University (B.A.), and College of William & Mary (J.D.). She is employed with the Maryland Administrative Office of the Courts.

Hershey, son of Paul and Cheryl Hershey of Ashburn, Va., graduated from Broad Run High School in Ashburn, and College of William & Mary (B.A., J.D.). He is working as a law clerk for the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.

After a wedding trip to Puerto Rico, the couple are living in Annapolis, Md.
