SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Amanda Herlinda Sturtevant, of San Diego and formerly of Brunswick, and Christopher James Sarver, also of San Diego, wish to announce their engagement.

Sturtevant, daughter of Thomas and Jema Sturtevant of San Diego, is a 2006 graduate of the Art Institute of San Diego, receiving a bachelor’s degree in interior design.

Sarver, son of Fredric and Tammy Rojek of Williamsburg, Va., is a 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he received a master’s of science in accountancy.

Their wedding is planned for Oct. 7, 2012, at The Darlington House in La Lolla, Calif.
