SCARBOROUGH – Maddy Dobecki and Ellen Warren scored Wednesday night to lift Scarborough to a 2-0 victory against Westbrook in a Southern Maine Activities Association field hockey game.

Shannon Hicks needed two saves for the shutout for the Red Storm (3-0). Nicole Miranda stopped seven shots for Westbrook (2-1).

THORNTON ACADEMY 2, KENNEBUNK 0: Morgan Dube scored in each half for the Golden Trojans (2-1) against the Rams (1-2) at Kennebunk.

Katherine Cotton stopped 12 shots for the Rams.

MASSABESIC 7, NOBLE 0: Jackie Guillemette scored four goals as the Mustangs (3-0) cruised past the Knights (0-2) at Waterboro.

Alex Staples scored the first two goals and Alexis Foglio added one for Massabesic, which led 4-0 at halftime.

Abby Greenleaf and Megan Hill combined for six saves to record the shutout.

Nikita Naymowicz finished with 18 saves for Noble.

SOUTH PORTLAND 2, PORTLAND 0: Kristina Salafia and Courtney Pelkey scored first-half goals as the Red Riots (1-1) edged the Bulldogs (0-3) at South Portland.

Lani Edwards finished with two saves to record the shutout and Michelle Medici made two defensive saves for the Red Riots.

Kailey Hannigan assisted on Salafia’s goal.

FALMOUTH 4, YARMOUTH 0: Mikey Richards and Jillian Rothweiler scored first-half goals, and Eleanor Fitzgerald and Dayna Vasconcelos added a goal apiece in the second half as the Yachtsmen (3-0) downed the Clippers (1-2) at Yarmouth.

WELLS 5, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2: Monica Link and Christina LeBlanc each scored twice for the Warriors (2-0), who scored the first five goals and held off the Seagulls (0-3) at Wells.

Daphne Allen scored twice in the final seven minutes for Old Orchard Beach and Colleen Dyer finished with 26 saves for the Seagulls.

LEWISTON 2, MT. ARARAT 0: Kelsey Dumond had a goal and an assist, and Janessa Talarico also scored for the Blue Devils (2-0) against Mt. Ararat (0-2) at Lewiston.

Ravon Palmer stopped 13 shots for the Blue Devils.
