The Maine Corrections Department says it apprehended 35-year-old Justin Ross on Thursday afternoon in Franklin County. Ross had escaped from a work release site in Leeds on Monday.

Ross, who’s from the Farmington area, was staying at the Central Maine Pre- Release Center in Hallowell.

He was serving a sentence for domestic violence assault. He was scheduled to be released late next month.
