THE ANNUAL HOT PURSUIT 5K was held Saturday in Brunswick. The top photo shows the race’s start, while in the bottom, from left, overall winner Robert Ashby of Brunswick; first female Leslie Witham of North Waterboro; and 12-year-old Ethan Sclar of Freeport. The event was hosted by the Brunswick Police Benefit Association and raised upwards of $1,400 for the Association's local law enforcement college scholarships and Maine Chapter of C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors); and drew in about 185 runners. See race results on B3.
