LISBON FALLS — Kayla Angelico erupted for four goals and the Lisbon High School girls soccer team got past Boothbay Region, 5-2 in Mountain Valley Conference play on Wednesday.
Angelico scored first half unassisted goals at 10: 37, 15:18 and 20:04 to pace the 3- 0- 1 Greyhounds, who are scheduled to visit Carrabec/Madison on Saturday.
Rachel Ball converted a Kailyn Hill feed in the second half as Lisbon rolled up a 24-8 shots advantage.
Lisbon goaltender Courtney Martel made five saves and Shantal MacWhinnie was a midfield standout, while Boothbay goalie McKayla McFetridge came away with 17 saves.
Abby McLellan scored two unassisted goals for Boothbay, which dipped to 1-2-1.
