BATH — Mt. Ararat Middle School field hockey goaltender Haley Frizzle turned aside 12 shots and counterpart Lila Paschey had four saves as the Mt. Ararat and Bath squads played to a 0-0 “A” deadlock.
Playing well for the Eagles were Caitlin Witwicki, and Thalia Couture, along with midfielder Alana Weaver and sweeper Sarah Gagne.
For Bath, KK Fifield played strong defense.
In the “B” game, Bath slipped away with a 1-0 victory over Mt. Ararat.
Karen Yurek picked up the shutout win with eight saves, while Mt. Ararat’s Clarissa LeBourdais had four stops.
Rebecca Click scored the lone goal for Bath, while teammates Isabelle Cushman, Sarah Graves, Lily Thibodeau and Emeilia Marsh played well.
For the Eagles, solid efforts were turned in by Lexi Laurelez, Katie Trebilcock, Mya Gerry, Madison Stover, Chloe Anna and Abby Malbon.
