BINGHAM — Randy Moody put his Richmond High School boys soccer team on his shoulders, scoring three goals as the Bobcats picked up a key East-West Conference 7-2 victory over Valley on Wednesday.

Leading 2-0 after a goal each from Nate Tribbett and Moody (assisted by Xavier Trask), Valley’s (5-3) Carrington Miller converted a penalty kick.

“Randy gathered the team together and took charge,” said Richmond (8-1) coach Joe Scribellito, who watched Moody scored three minutes later for a 3-1 Bobcats lead at the half.

Moody, from Tribbett, and Eddie Stewart made it a 5-1 game early in the second half before Miller scored on a second Valley penalty kick.

Stewart set up Tribbett three minutes later, and Brett Stillwell finished the scoring with 3:10 remaining.
