The students and staff at the Bath Regional Career & Technical Center extend their thanks to the employees and managers at BIW who contribute so generously during Fridays’ gate collections. Our students were greeted warmly and graciously by all who passed through the seven gates we covered this morning. We were able to raise more than $1,300, money that will help with the cost of our students participating in technical skills competitions in Bangor in March and in Kansas City in June. These competitions are a core component of our programs and provide focus and incentive for our students to achieve at the highest levels.

The Bath Regional Career & Technical Center provides technical and vocational training to students from Boothbay Region High School, Lincoln Academy, Morse High School and Wiscasset High School. Our students belong to the largest high school student organization in the country, SkillsUSA, providing them leadership, service and learning opportunities that are unique at the secondary school level.

We are proud of the work our students and staff do here at the center and are grateful for the support that BIW employees provide.
