TOPSHAM — Two weeks ago, the Mt. Ararat High School freshman boys soccer team lost to Lewiston 7-0.
On Monday, the Eagles stood tall and held a 1-0 lead, but the talented Blue Demons scored two late goals to pull out a 2-1 victory.
Ben Bishop staked Mt. Ararat to a 1-0 lead early in the second half.
Playing well for the Eagles, who visit Camden Hills on Thursday, were Devon Drew, Deamonte Stupinski, Marcus Larrivee, Eric Segars, Brett Brown, Nick Breed, Max Bodmer and Eric French.
In goal, Mt. Ararat goaltender Mason Griffin had 10 stops.
