Robert N. Barra, 99, of Kennebunk, died peacefully Tuesday evening, Oct. 2, 2012 at Bradford Commons in Kennebunk, surrounded by his loving family. A military burial will be held at Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at the Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk. Ruth M. Pruitt, 47, of Sabattus, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, after a brief illness from complications of meningitis. Visiting hours will be 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at Hope Memorial Chapel, followed by a funeral service at noon. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
