
Irene and Thomas lived together in Scarsdale, NY for 34 years before coming to Bowdoin in 1989.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son Thomas J. Walsh, Jr. who died in 2006.
Survivors include her son, John M. Walsh of Ridgeway, CO, two daughters, Kathleen Noonan of Intervale, NH and Eileen Hewitt of Deerfield, NH, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the West Bowdoin Cemetery, West Road, Bowdoin. In lieu of sending flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bowdoin Fire & Rescue Department, PO Box 35, Bowdoin, ME 04287 or to the Coastal Humane Society, 30 Range Road Brunswick, ME 04011. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Brackett Funeral Home, Brunswick.
